Volunteer Head Coach: Jessica Ward
Jess was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and has completed her senior year on the NC state swim team. She is the current NC State record holder ain the 200 breaststroke and also holds Top Ten school history spots in the 100 breast and 400 IM. She is a former member of the Canadian national team, and qualified for U.S Trials in the 100 and 200 breast.
Jess is an Education major with a minor in coaching education, and in her spare time volunteers with the boys and girls club in the Raleigh area. She is very excited to be a part of the Wahoo family, and plans to bring knowledge of the sport and excitement to every practice.
Volunteer Assistant Head Coach: Facu Monteiro
Facu was born in Wilde, Buenos Aires, Argentina and has completed his sophomore year on the NC State swim team. He is a national champion in the 200-meter backstroke; he also collected a Buenos Aires title in the 100-meter backstroke, 200-meter IM, and 100-meter butterfly. He was named Club Swimmer of the year in 2008 and took first in the 100-meter backstroke at the International Austral Cup with the Argentinean National Team.
Facu is a business administration major with a minor in marketing. He is very excited to be a part of the Wahoo family, and plans to bring knowledge of the sport and excitement to every practice.
